We couldn’t be happier with the Café 23.2 cu. ft. Smart Counter-Depth 4-Door French-Door Refrigerator. For a counter-depth model, the capacity is impressively efficient. The layout makes excellent use of space, and despite being 23.2 cu. ft., it easily holds everything we need without feeling cramped. The four-door configuration is a standout. The middle drawer is extremely versatile and quickly became one of our most-used features, perfect for drinks, snacks, or frequently accessed items. Both the refrigerator and freezer sections are well organized and easy to navigate. The dual-dispense AutoFill water pitcher is another highlight. Having filtered water ready to grab from the fridge is incredibly convenient, and the auto-fill feature works reliably. The dispenser is fast and easy to use while maintaining a clean, integrated look. Being ENERGY STAR certified gives us confidence in its efficiency, and it runs quietly while maintaining consistent temperatures. The smart features are well executed too. Absolutely love this refrigerator. It is my first counter-depth refrigerator and I was very concerned there would not be enough room to store all our food in it. I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. The fridge is very sleek and well laid out to maximize the small space. Definitely has a few cons - the drawers feel flimsy. The middle freezer drawer tends to get stuck and we have to lift the other drawers to get it to go back in. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our last dishwasher was also a Bosch, installed over 15 years ago. I was shocked (though I obviously shouldn't have been) to see that the water and electrical hookups had moved completely, making the install much more complicated for me. On the other hand, the newer leveling procedure is much nicer. Of course, we're still just getting used to it, but I fully expect this new Benchmark version to last at least as long as the old "800" model did, and be just as easy to live with. (Full disclosure, the old one would still be running fine if "someone" hadn't taken a tumble on the open door!) So far, my only quibble (and it's a large one) is that the Delay Start button has been moved to ONLY the app and is no longer on the control panel. At least let it be part of your Favorites settings! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3 stars for functionality, 5 stars for cleaning performance. This dishwasher does an amazing job at cleaning our dishes. So for that I highly recommend. However, it does have a few frustrating "features". The racks are difficult to use for a number of reasons. In the two months I've been using my machine, I still don't know the best way to load it. The top rack is OK (not great) but the bottom rack is bad. You can't put anything in the front half of the rack between the tines because everytime you push the rack in the dishes fall towards the back. I love having the flex tray at the top but the handle design is terrible and it is always coming loose. And on all the racks the tines that you can lay down never want to stay in place. The control panel has bright LED lights but the icons aren't lit up, which means at night when you want to use the machine you can't see the buttons because you're blinded by bright white light bars. Lastly, I put the machine online, which was handy for setting up washing cycles, but the other day it mysteriously disconnected from my phone and now I can't get the machine back online again.. Matt.
