I finally broke down and invested in a better vacuum. This thing is amazing! Mostly hard flooring and its highest setting picks up everything- doesn’t blow it around. Lower settings handle even my flat washable rugs and don’t suck them up. The real test? I accidentally sucked up a metal door stopper that had broken and I immediately stopped the machine and took it apart to find the piece. Found it…in the bag. We got the 150,000BTU heat pump. A little overkill for our 18x33’ pool but I didn’t want to take any chances as our last heater (different brand) had a hard time keeping up. This is a big, heavy heat pump so be prepared to move it and get it in place. Our friend who installs pools came by to check it out and gave a thumbs up. Now we are waiting for our electrician to run a 220 line. He looked over the heat pump and had favorable things to say. Will update my review once it has electricity. The vacuum was $999 on another site so I tried Wayfair. The description was confusing as to what attachments came with it and for that reason I give it 4 stars. The vacuum is perfect.
