Works good and looks nice but it would have helped if the remote control worked. There’s no way to dim the lights without the remote so it is very bright when the room is dark. Update… Contacted the manufacturer directly and they fixed the issue. They were very responsive and sent a free replacement remote control and panel. They guided me through the whole process of pairing the remote and followed through a few days later to see how everything was working. Now it is working 100 perfect!! We’re extremely happy with the Touchstone Sideline Elite fireplace. The flame looks very realistic and bright, and being able to adjust the flame speed is a great feature. The flame and base color options are excellent and don’t look cheap at all. It’s definitely worth the extra cost compared to cheaper options—this looks and functions like a very high-end fireplace without having to spend thousands more. It added a beautiful, premium touch to our new media wall. It came with a log, driftwood and crystals. So, you can style it however you like. The only downside was the shipping speed. Delivery through Wayfair took about two weeks, which caused some inconvenience. Other than that, the fireplace itself is amazing.
