I love the simplicity and low profile of this patio umbrella base stand! It says it’s 40 lbs. but it feels much heavier than that! It was extremely easy to assemble, five minutes! I’ve had my umbrella opened since I installed it and we’ve had rain and wind for the past week and this umbrella has not wavered or moved an inch! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. I like the fact that it come with several hole adjustments for various size poles. I had to use the 1.5 inch hole tube. Update, have a new table with the umbrella hole. Exactly as shown in the website photo and exactly as I had hoped! My bed is low and I have a queen size bed - so I get the king size quilts so they are to the floor and I don’t have to look at the area between the quilt’s end and the floor (plus my platform bed will not keep a nice bed ruffle in place). This fits well from side to side and does not drag on the carpet! I love the white - it provides a clean and crisp feel for my room. The quilted material is very soft and well sewn.
