I love the simplicity and low profile of this patio umbrella base stand! It says it’s 40 lbs. but it feels much heavier than that! It was extremely easy to assemble, five minutes! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. The top 2 drawers do not have the side mount drawer slides instead they glide on metal side rails and they are slightly smaller than the space, you can move them left and right but they don’t come off the metal rail.
