It has a crazy range from gentle breeze to full wind tunnel, and the wind is smooth and steady the entire time. This is a wonderful handheld fan. It is very light weight so I am able to take it with me everywhere I go which I do. We have had a warm summer so far but I am also going through perimenopause so am hot all the time and this little fan has been a life saver. I sit it on my desk at work and it keeps me cool all day.
