The shed arrived packaged in two big bundles and was delivered down two dirt roads to gravel driveway. Great delivery service ! My carpenter neighbor put the building together on piers. However he reinforced the floor with additional two by fours. The building was a good value with the windows. This building is my she-shed for my Mtn getaways. I love to camp and becoming intolerant to inconsiderate, loud, and drunk neighbors in next site. We purchased primitive lot in NC foothillmtn years ago. Unable to afford a second house here, my she shed will be my camping getaway site. No close site neighbors. Plenty of storage space on the shelf inside as well. I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the instructions were pretty clear. I put mine on top of of a concrete pad. Also did a row of cinder blocks, which required a little customizing where the door fit in the wall. I was looking for a 10x12 shed with the door on the wide side which was surprisingly hard to find but fortunately this fit the bill. And Wayfair had it for a very reasonable price, so win-win! For a foreign made product I was thoroughly impressed with the instructions & how clearly pieces were labeled- they were surprisingly good! Assembly was very forgiving; measurements/alignment didn't have to be perfect, there was some forgiveness built in. HOWEVER. Every. Single. Piece. of stamped sheet metal (every side panel, every roof panel, the end gables, doors, etc) had a protective plastic film on it. No big deal right? Those are held on with static electricity right? NOPE! It's really thin plastic with an obnoxious adhesive- so if you heat it up, the glue loosens but the plastic softens & tears wayyyy too easily. If you don't heat it, the adhesive is too strong and tears the plastic wayyyy too easily. So lose-lose. Like literally I would say 50% of the time I put into assembling this was excruciatingly peeling torn plastic pieces off and 50% was enjoyably screwing & bolting pieces together watching the shed actually come to life. Good portable garage and I was very happy with the package contents. It took me 5 hours by myself to put this together am happy with this unit. Let me tell you why. The setup is based on photosimages but the hardware needed is listed by size. The tubular framing is marked and the untalkation image tells it all. Once the frsme was assembled the f t onto, rear the finally the top cover were installed. I was happy at this point with the way everything was going. You now have the lower cross tubular supports to install on each side. After this was completed I adjusted the front and rear tensioners and took a loom at the assembled portable garage. I was very happy and the height was much taller than the one I replaced. Finally and most important. The ground stakes and supports to keep this unit from leaving your yard from the wind. The twist into the ground anchors I faster with is cable and hardware thats not included I used the small ss cable and connectors that kept the last one i had un my yard. I also used heavy duty zip ties and the hammer in spikes for each support on the ground for each upright. I am very happy with this purchase. Just take your time with the intallation.. Charles. I needed this carport to use as an outdoor workspace for upcoming renovations. Its the next best thing to a garage. I do recommend installing the roof canopy after the roof frame has been assembled. Assembling the roof canopy after the frame was fully erected proved to be cumbersome. Highly recommend using a four-step ladder or 6 ft ladder. I was able to assemble alone. It is actually a pretty solid car port. high ceilings. I do agree with that one reviewer - if only they made the bolts a couple mm longer, it would make set up so much quicker. I just put this up, and it has the most detailed instructions I've ever seen! All of the parts were there, everything numbered, everything fit together real well, I also like how you can take the ends of the shelter off and back on, Ididn't put them on from the beginning but I don't think it's going to be a big deal you just got to go up under the collar that comes around the end to keep weather out when you do have the ends on there. I'm not using the anchoring ropes into the ground, taking one to a tree and the other two into the house. I'll just have to wait and see if it can stand up to South Florida weather.
