The instructions were not the most user-friendly, but since I’m quite handy with assembling things, I managed to comprehend most of the directions. We are very happy with this gazebo. The wood quality is very good, and the finished product looks beautiful and sturdy in our backyard. Assembly was easier than expected. Two people in the family were able to put it together without hiring outside workers. The instructions were clear, and the parts fit together well. I would recommend wearing gloves during assembly to help avoid scratches or small injuries, and having a ladder will definitely make the process easier. One thing I would suggest is adding an extra coat of wood stain or sealer if you want more protection. I did that for mine because I want it to last longer. Even without it, I think the wood feels durable, but if you live in a humid area or want extra long-term protection, adding a wood sealer is a good idea. One of my favorite things is simply sitting inside the gazebo in the early morning or late afternoon. The shade, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and unwind. It took a few months to get up the desire to tackle this project. The instructions were pretty straight forward, mainly pictures without words. I'd say assembly was on the easier side. Instructions said it would take 4 to 6 people to assemble, I did it completely by myself with no issues. I think it took me about 10 total hours over 2 days to completely assemble. There were several parts that were not marked with the same letters as in the instructions but easy enough to figure out. The "V" posts were actually "W" posts and a couple other issues like that. There was also one length of wood that was about 1" too long and I had to trim it off to assemble. a nice looking gazebo and I'd probably purchase it again.. William. Sun Sep 08 2024

I did anchor to post with the cement screws provided, but cemented the other two inside of outdoor gardening pots. The roof panels seemed like they were simply cardboard covered in plexi glass coating, therefore my hopes were not high for the durability. Love this gazebo. The wood is solid cedar and it is pre-finished in a nice cedar color. I'm not sure if the finish would last in the elements (we live in Canada where the winters are harsh) so we put a good cedar stain on it prior to winter. My husband also built a cedar louvered privacy wall on the one side so we stained the whole thing the same colour. It was fairly simple to assemble and took two of us a weekend to put up.. Lorri. Perfect size for our 6 x 6 MasterSpa hot tub. Directions were straightforward but I recommend loosening the screws on the frame when adding the inside bars, or the holes don’t line up and you’ll drive yourself crazy. You will absolutely need a step stool or ladder and it says 2 people for some roof pieces, but I’m saying 3 because it was a lot for us with only 2! The support beams were wobbly and falling over!
