Great pan but already scratched. My catsitter must’ve done it. For 180 you would think it wouldn’t be too easy to scratch this. The bummer is I could’ve spent MUCH less to have a scratched finish. I can’t believe that my Catsitter is that stupid to use superhuman force and metal tools to clean it but who knows.. Kathleen. Sacramento, CA. Thu Jul 20 2023

I already did this review on the first skillet that I received.. the first one arrived looking like it had been through a hurricane. The shipping box was fine, but the actual box that the skillet was in, was a mess! It was filthy dirty, smashed and torn . The skillet was scuffed, but it still did a nice job cooking. Have cooked many things with it and everything turns out great. You can keep the heat at a lower setting and it cooks evenly and doesn't burn. My family loved the pot roast that I made in it.. Mimi. Utilizing pure ceramic as a coating, the Green Earth Pan by is one of the world's first frying pans to achieve non-stick perfection while remaining absolutely free of PTFE, PFOA, and other harmful chemicals. Conventional cookware and other ceramic cookware brands achieve their non-stick performance through a coating of PTFE a synthetic substance that has waxy properties. At very high temperatures, PTFE begins to decompose and release fumes that are documented to be lethal to birds and small pets, and which can be harmful to humans. In addition, traditional pans incorporating PTFE are often manufactured with the aid of PFOA Acid), which the EPA has classified as a 'persistent pollutant of the environment. With the Green Earth Pan's cozier technology, even under high temperatures, such harmful toxic fumes are never released into the environment. This is because the Green Earth Pan by Ozeri utilizes a 100% ceramic coating inspired by nature. The Green Earth Pan's ceramic coating is completely free of PTFE and PFOA. In addition to being eco-friendly and ultra-safe, the Green Earth Pan's ceramic coating is far more durable and scratch-resistant than other non-stick surfaces. With better non-stick properties, the Green Earth Pan by allows you to , fry, bake, boil, and braise with as little as half the amount of oil normally used, and it makes cleaning a breeze. The Green Earth Pan by is made of the highest quality die-cast aluminum that allows for even cooking and fantastic browning without the risk of hot spots. It boasts a magnetized bottom for rapid heat transfer on induction stoves and a heat-resistant Bakelite handle. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.

The Alva Artist Carbon Steel Frying Pan Set is hand-hammered, and that is not decoration — the dimpled surface breaks up contact with the food slightly, helping release as the seasoning builds. Both pans arrive pre-seasoned and ready to cook, and carbon steel does what stainless and nonstick cannot do together: it takes real high heat for searing and develops a naturally nonstick patina that improves with every meal rather than wearing out. There is no synthetic coating to scratch or replace, so metal utensils are welcome. Oven safe to 500°F and compatible with every cooktop including induction. Hand wash, dry immediately and wipe with a little oil. Available in 9.5 and 11 inches and as this 2-piece set. Made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE or PFOA. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, built in the Belgian tradition since 1949.
