Oushak rugs are the most popular and one of the oldest traditional rugs. Oushak (Usak) rugs use a particular family of designs and are called by the convention after the city of Ushak, Turkey. Oushak rugs are known for the silky, luminous wool they work with. The dyes tend towards cinnamon, terracotta tints, gold, blues, greens, ivory, saffron, and grays. The soft wool is obtained from the chest of a lamb where it's softer because of the minimal sun exposure. The fairly larger knots used in this type of rug enable larger patterns on the rug which is a designer's delight. The vent cover arrived quickly and in good condition. I like the modern, clean style and the screws are hidden. The installation instructions are clear and remind you multiple times to measure the opening and purchase the cover appropriate for the space. There is no wheel or mechanism to open and close the baffles. You use your fingers or a screwdriver which could be a pain if you are using it in a ceiling or other difficult to access area.
