Today I got the package for silk lampshade. I have 7 orient lamps all with silk shades. The one I got early 2001 with beige scalloped shade with plastic lining until it turned brown and cracked. I have bought a small silk lampshade at lamp shop before. It was over $100 and now I am retired. I need a new shade so badly and I tried Wayfair and looked carefully with sizes. It’s affordable. Got the shade and touched carefully. The fabric is really silk! So I placed on the lamp. Sides was correct 12 inches. The bottom and top was 1.5 inches short. These were a total surprise. I was very unsure about the gold inside these small shades. the size and shape was exactly what i have been wanting to update my dinning room chandelier. I recently repainted to a darker moodier color and wanted the lighting to be the same. This black and gold is sooo warm, moody and beautiful. Almost a candle light feeling as I have candle light shaped bulbs under the shade that you can see a little. If you are looking for a bright light this is not it. Love this choice.. Donna. US.
