The product arrives in two long, flat boxes. The packing was sufficient for the most part except for the triangular pieces that are part of the roof. They were dented and scratched, but I didn’t think it was worth my time and trouble to try to have them replaced, so I pounded out the dents with a rubber mallet. The flaws are visible, but not as bad as how they came. Each piece of metal is covered with plastic film that should be removed before assembly, which takes a lot of time and patience, but once removed the metal surfaces are very clean with a good coating. Assembly definitely requires two people and several hours since there are over 300 screws, but once assembled, the structure is very solid. I was impressed with the engineering. All of the screw holes lined up and the instructions/diagrams were easy to follow. I built a wooden deck with 2x6 treated joists and treated plywood for the floor and screwed the base to that. Is it possible to be in love with a toilet? I am! I fell in love with this toilet before I even used it, reading reviews, examining its features, etc. And then my contractor installed it. From the moment it was plugged in, I knew it would be a game changer for me in the best possible way. Love the heated seat. Love *all* the bidet functions. Love the night light. Love the remote control. Love my auto open/close lid. I feel cleaner (and am) when I use it, and the toilet is designed to be a sanitizing experience. I haven't even used the deodorizer yet! I. love. this. toilet. It's a little pricey, but treat yourself. It will change going to the bathroom for you. Two bonus tips: 1) if your #2s are often messy (i.e., squishy -- sorry if TMI but you need to know this), this the answer; 2) if you're concerned about the price -- I am a super-picky person and I shopped around to discern whether I should get this toilet or a smart toilet. This is a traditional toilet with smart features, and given the reputation and stellar history of Toto that accompanies this toilet, this unit is ultra-reasonably priced. It would be difficult to pick out the most infuriating part of putting this shed together. It is relatively flimsy until you get it all together and then even then not sure how well it’ll stand up to some serious storms. All that being said, it is a shed and it came with all the parts and it is standing.
