The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. We spent a lot of time looking for just the right kitchen faucet as we remodel our older, new home kitchen to boot. The rectangular shape of this pan was inspired by the Japanese makiyakinabe pans that are used for rolled omelets called tamagoyaki. The rectangular omelet can be filled and rolled evenly and then cut into slices with an identical diameter.
