Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. This extension came in Chrome to match our other Pulsify parts, and it adds four inches to the ceiling mount that is already sticking out around two inches. This is a sleek look for your shower, and it works like a dream spa. Though it advises that a pro put this in for you, my husband (definitely not a pro) had a little problem following the guide and installing this mount. The directions are easy and quick to follow, and there is everything you need in the kit except the following items, which you probably have lying around your garage: plumber’s tape, silicone sealant and chalking gun, a drill, a screwdriver, and an Allen wrench.. I bought this faucet trim for its modern style. It's a little larger than I expected, and it does not come with a shut off valve, as many of them do not. But after calling around I finally found the one that goes with it and everything is working fine. If my budget was larger, I would have chosen an entire shower trim set that was very expensive and more sleek. But this was a middle ground that I found pleasing. I would recommend this product.
