This rough valve by Hansgrohe is expertly designed to fit the Axor Starck Rough-in Valve for Starck Shower Column. This valve is required for installation and will not work on any product except the Starck Shower Column.

Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. I bought this sink for a laundry room that is very small. We needed to modify the new sink base to make sure the washer and dryer could fit in front of it. This sink is the smallest in width and height of all sinks that I looked at. Its depth (top to base of sink) is nice and deep and that makes it so much easier to wash pots and pans and the cat :). The 17” from front to back is what sold me. I needed the base to be 21.5” and have room at the front of the sink as well the back for the faucet and built in soap dispenser. Others have suggested that it shows water stains and it does a bit, but I don’t mind. We found an after market grate for the bottom and it works pretty well. It would be since if Azuni made one for this sink as it did for some of the other sinks. This will keep the bottom from getting scratched up. I’m still careful with pans as to not scratch the stainless. I’m not sure it would hold up well as an everyday sink for a kitchen. This is a good solid shower base. It was generally square and straight although the front edge was a bit bowed out. It doesn’t come with a drain so keep that in mind.
