Seasoning and reseasoning is something that I actually like to do to keep them non stick. These pans sit on my stove and they are what we us 95% of the time. Do it! They will last your lifetime and through your children’s lives. The pan comes unseasoned so the color is more bronze, after seasoning they will be black. I wanted a non-stick griddle that would be good for eggs or pancakes. I know these types of teflon non-stick pans are being fazed out for ceramic non-stick.
