These lights hang swagged along the ceiling edge my 40’ front porch. This is the second year (2026) they have been put up. I have them plugged into a timer so every night they go on at dusk and off at midnight. I have never had to replace the any of the bulbs yet. The bulbs are plastic, but do not look like glass. I’m an ambient light fanatic — if it’s warm and dim, I’m sold. This night light is exactly what I was hoping for. The side dimmer is the star of the show — being able to control the brightness is so handy. It gives off a cozy amber glow but still lights up the area surprisingly well. Perfect for hallways, stairs, and late-night tip-toeing without getting flash-banged by overhead lighting. Though they do look like candles, they do not flicker. It is a solid light. Fair warning: this is a bulkier night light, so it definitely makes a little statement in the outlet.
