Our first base had a small crack in one corner, most likely due to shipping damage. Wayfair immediately replaced it and the 2nd base had stronger packaging material and came in good condition. The drain is very slightly off centered, which is how it was meant to be, but since we were replacing an older base that was centered, the hole and shower drain didn't match up. We purchase a small offset drain attachment which worked perfectly. The base is sturdy and strong and with the rings on the underside for support, it did not need any filling material. The rectangular omelet can be filled and rolled evenly and then cut into slices with an identical diameter.
