In the shower, hip height is sufficient as a lower limit; there you should perhaps opt for the 24" wallbar or you could go for a 36" wallbar depending on your needs. Even though the color is a little darker that I thought, it really looks nice in the room. I am a fan of Jonti-Craft products and this one does not disappoint. What does disappoint is delivery. I ordered this May 27th and just received it August 14th. And when I finally did receive it, it was damaged. It looks like it fell off of a truck. Now I am waiting for another one.. Teresa.
