The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. These parts are very hard to come by. I ordered in matte black. Very pleased with quality; however plumber was a little careless when affixing so some of the paint did scuff off but easily touched up with paint. The product arrived flawless. It only took me half of an hour to put them on and the outcome is great. The covers have a Velcro like edge so no messy glue is needed.
