Based on the Catalan vaults he created the Guastavino tile, a "Tile Arch System" patented in the United States in 1885 and used for constructing robust, self-supporting arches and architectural vaults using interlocking terracotta tiles and layers of mortar. Guastavino tile is found in some of New York's most prominent Beaux-Arts landmarks and in major buildings across the United States. It is used in a huge number of architecturally important and famous buildings with vaulted spaces. Guastavino was not the principal architect for most of the projects.

This toilet was mounted of an exterior wall. The plumber mounted the water supply coming out of the floor, 6" to the left of the drain. All the modern skirted toilets had a base of 12" or wider. Love the SkyPlug outlet product and ease of installation. The light fixture itself is a high quality product and really impressed with the integrated SkyX plug. I installed this as a replacement to a ceiling light. The earlier installer did not do a great job as the ceiling outlet box extended an inch or so below the ceiling and the hole cut was too large. I replaced with an old work box and used a medallion to help give it a finished look. This would not have been necessary for ceiling boxes properly installed to begin with.
