These dimmable LED bulbs came in a box of 24 so they will last a long time because they have a very long lifespan of 15,000 hours. I can use these indoor or outside. and can be used in a damp area. They are very bright and that has to be taken into consideration if you need a lot of bulbs in one fixture. I needed eight bulbs and that was just too much light. These are excellent commercial grade LED bulbs which can replace traditional HID metal halide/high pressure sodium bulbs. Ballast must be bypassed, as these use just normal 120V line voltage. These burn only 10% of the power as traditional HID bulbs, yet they produce the same lumen output. Also as advertised, these feature a sliding switch which allows you to select the wattage and lumen output, a fantastic feature which allows for some customization. Another great feature of these bulbs is the fact that they can be used in many standard base light fixtures with an inexpensive (not included) E39 adapter.
