Acrylic tubs are light, but often do not retain heat well, this one happens to have an insulation option. Bingo! I wanted an air tub with white drain hardware, those were options here too. I wanted a sleek modern aesthetic with room for two, this unit fit the bill. I needed adjustable feet so that I could get water to flow underneath the tub in a wet room, that was another yes here. I had a really specific wish list, and this thing met it all! We're still in the middle of install, but the quality of this unit appears very promising. Feel so spoiled in this tub! It is a wonderful soaking tub and looks awesome in the space. The higher ends make it easy to relax your head on while soaking. My only complaint is that sometimes I hit the drain with my bottom and it pops up very easily! Good for a laugh when that happens!!! So glad I went with Vintage Tub and Bath for this purchase! We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. The shower and all its components is gorgeous and feels wonderful, but these tech issues are enough to drive you crazy, especially 18 months after install.. Cajunmeggle. Tennessee. Wed Feb 26 2025

I eventually realized that showering without it was much more enjoyable. Had to throw it away. The teak option is the way to go but it’s not available for my model for some weird reason.
