I’m pleased with the product but it does take up a lot of space and was difficult to fill with sand . There was an inside obstruction so you could only get a funnel in about 1 inch. These umbrella base weights are extremely easy and intuitive to use. They fit our umbrella perfectly. The filling spots are easy to find and simple to fill. The umbrella base arrived quickly and on time. It was super easy to fill the sections with water and I also put step stones on top, just to have extra weight. So far, so good. This is exactly what I needed to get rid of the big ugly base on my umbrella. The holes for the umbrella base are tapped for M8 bolts. The outer holes work for 14 bolts. The base is powder coated dark grey with some metallic flakes. This comes with 16 lag screws that are about 2” long. I didn’t use these as they wouldn’t sink far enough into the support joists..
