This plate came sweetly wrapped in like a bamboo netting material. Very secure, with a bit of weight. Easily the nicest porcelain I've ever owned, and the rough surfacing makes the item feel unbreakable and incredibly high end. With all that said, I must be using it incorrectly. I was hoping the dip in the center was far less pronounced once it arrived but no such luck. I personally have almost no use for this "plate" other than maybe some chili in the middle with bread lining the sides..or a salad.
