These replaced another ceramic decoration that found its demise from a porch pirate. First two weeks are positive. They are starting to show a bit of patina as expected. I feel they help bring the heat up from the firepit, but I can't say for sure. The burner and pan are ok. Some of the fittings for the natural gas hook-up looked corroded, and were made in China. So had to purchase new fittings to connect the gas to be safe.
