Installed two of these in the laundry room. To avoid doing electrical work we ran the cord into the cabinet then used an in wall hidden cord kit that came out next the outlet behind the washer. Purchased 4 18" under cabinet lights. Deciding factor was that they were a slim design and could be connected end to end. We had two florescent lights but the switches was hard to find (on the light) when feeling for it so they didn't get used much. I connected this set of lights to a wall switch. So much easier to operate them. My only comment is that I wish they came with adjustable light color. these lights were exactly what i was looking for. they are small, low profile and provide a LOT of light. i was wary about getting puck lights b/c i wasn't sure if they would give a spotlight effect on the counters or not. they give off a nice even diffused light. We got the 2700k and it's a beautiful warm light. note, you MUST buy a power supply for this if you don't have one. Call Wayfair or Kichner support, they will be very helpful. We got the one from kichner it was a dimmer with the transformer built in and when this thing is dimmed all the way down, it's still pretty bright. meaning when i turn them up they light up my counters perfectly. my one worry is i don't know how long they will last and if i should keep a spare around. i hope they last as long as led lights are supposed to. but 1 week in, i'm thrilled..
