I got this pan to see if I would like it before I bought the whole set. I got is March 30 and it is now May 5. I use it about 4x a week. No discoloration and no coating coming off. With that being said I do not use A LOT of oil, I have a oil mister. I do not place in the dishwasher, I hand wash with a sisal dish brush. I do not use metal utensils, I use silicone.. Miranda. These pans have the most effective non-stick surface I have ever seen. They heat evenly and cook efficiently.
