Set up the bed frame today. It was relatively easy with a few setbacks (put the headboard lets on backwards the first time). Took probably a total of 2 hours. Seems very sturdy and well made. One thing to take into consideration is while the frame gives you the height, you also have to take into consideration the height of your mattress. Mine is thicker than I thought so you can hardly see the headboard/footboard. The biggest drawback is while the headboard and footboard secure the mattress from moving up and down, there are no side supports to keep the mattress from shifting side to side when you sit down on it or go to lay down on it. This bed is built so beautifully! It’s definitely not a bed you’re building from scratch. Essentially it’s attaching the sideboards to the head and footboard along with screwing the wooden slats onto the center supporting platform and the sideboards. I wish there were screws on both sides of every wooden slat (some are only screwed into the middle platform) but aside from that this is a very sturdy bed for a reasonable price.
