Delivery was fast! We are building the trundle into the wall underneath soon-to-be shelving. The height is exactly 8 inches from the slats to the top of the wood.I wish it was higher so the “lip” goes above the mattress but with a recommended up to 8” mattress, it’s more flush. I just got the drawers the other day. They shipped out VERY fast which I was really happy with. The entire drawer is made of heavy duty wood, with the exception of the bottom which is more flimsy. With that said though, they did give two pieces of wooden bracing for the particle board so that everything slide in together and stays in place and tight. I do think these will hold up. I purchased in the Grey and the color is really nice. They slide nice on both carpet and hard wood floors which is excellent. Depth is fantastic. These drawers are deeper than my girls actual dresser drawers so allow for a lot of storage. For the most part they were pretty easy to put together. I am not handy at all but was able to almost put them completely together myself. I relied on my husband to put on the finishing board, (it needed to be hit pretty hard to get everything into the right grooves perfectly) and he needed to put in the last 2 screws because they kept backing out for me. He is a contractor and it took him a whopping 30 seconds to do was frustrated me for like 15 minutes so maybe it was user error! Overall I am very happy with the product! Everything was in a great condition, no chips scratches or nicks. I am using these on the sides of my girls beds not under the foot of the bed. My girls Bed has a leg in the middle so the drawers that would normally fit under a twin don't work. It isn't a perfect fit, but goes get the job done! I would definitely recommend!. Krysten. Pretty sturdy and easy to put together. I liked that there are support slats beneath. Only issue was a few chips on the particle board that is the bottom of the drawer. Figured it would be too much of a hassle to exchange and we’re using drawer organizers anyway. Wish the wheels offered full rotation instead of being fixed.
