[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The twinkly flex 6.5ft lights are a very neat product. The instructions are simple: create a design for the flexible lights and hang them up. There is an app to help create light designs, which is a very fun addition. The package comes with 4 design patterns (cactus, Christmas tree, love, and music note). These design patterns help map out the design and tells you exactly where to drill your holes. Now, I don’t really think I’ll use any of those patterns. They really aren’t very interesting to me. I like the Christmas tree but you have to drill into your wall to hang these lights and I have no desire to leave a Christmas tree up all year around or fill holes each time I take it down. I might try and find a good use for this product where I don’t need to drill holes. I also think this would be a fun addition to a baby’s room. The different color options make this a really fun product. I tried to map out maybe a cloud of a baby room but it’s really hard to do because the flexible lights are pretty stiff. I think when hanging this product you would need to do a lot of planning and hopefully drill your holes in the correct spot. Overall, these flexible lights are really fun and simple enough to use. The amount of customizations you can make is pretty overwhelming but if you’re a creative person you’ll have a blast. I can’t wait to see what designs we come up with..
