There is definitely room for improvement. It was pretty easy to assemble by myself and just as easy to load it up with the firewood I already had. I placed the unit on concrete stepping stones to keep it from sinking into the ground. The cover is heavy duty, however; the cover is much wider than the top poles and no way of keeping the cover from collapsing down as the wood pile goes down, which then will create a huge puddle when it rains. I am going to attempt at using some sort of joiner board between the top poles to help with the cover issue and from the side poles from wanting to bow out.
