The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. This is a great range hood fan and I researched many many different ones before coming across this one. It's actually a Canadian company but the actual company was out of stock . Wayfair was as well but their back order came in pretty quickly. The hood is gorgeous with everything I wanted it to have ( 4 lights, not just 2 and they're DIMMABLE!!), 2 simple dials; one for lights and one for fan speed ( no ugly black electronic panel with yet another clock..lol) and it's pretty quiet, even on the highest speed which is a powerful 750 cfm. This is a very nice range hood for the money! I love using the hand gestures to turn on and off. The low and medium settings are very quiet - high is relatively loud, but its 900 CFM!(Most in this price range are only 450 CFM). I’ve had this BRANO 30-inch range hood installed in my kitchen for a little while now, and it’s a massive upgrade! The 900 CFM motor is an absolute beast. It clears out heavy smoke, steam, and cooking odors in mere seconds. Even with that incredible power, it stays surprisingly quiet on the lower settings. The triple controls are easily the best feature. The gesture controls (waving your hand) are super responsive and a lifesaver when my hands are covered in grease or raw ingredients. I also love the hands-free voice command when I'm busy at the stovetop. Installation was straightforward, and the brushed stainless steel looks incredibly sleek and gives my kitchen a high-end, modern feel. The baffle filters are a breeze to clean—I just pop them right into the dishwasher.
