This clean simple molding worked well enough for our purpose — we just wanted something to dress up our old entry door. I guess I looked at too many moldings before choosing one to order because I thought it was made of solid wood, but it is a lightweight composite material. However, it turned out okay — it was still easy to work with and we didn’t have any problems in cutting, aligning, or installation despite its maximum flexibility.
