I really like that this lamp is dimmable, from very bright to a much lower, cool light. Besides providing a great light for working or reading, I am able to turn the light up toward my face, and dim it as necessary, so it provides decent lighting for the online videoconferences many of us are doing these days.. Having a nice work light can help a lot when you are working! This flexible base work light of ours is illuminated with LED lights, which are non-stroboscopic and very soft for you. It is made of PC and an anodized aluminum alloy tube and aluminum alloy cover, which is very hard and strong.

The lamp feels substantial and went together well after finagling the threads on the handle. This lamp is accurate to site description and good quality. It's exactly what I wanted in a table clip-on lamp shade. One thing you should note if you are going to use it on an angled drafting table: the base rotates to turn the lamp right or left, but it will only stay to the right or left if you are using it on a level desk (as most people probably would).
