I received this item as part of the Tramontina Early Review program. To be honest, I had never used this type of cookware before. The build quality is excellent—solid cast iron, well-finished, and pre-seasoned as described.
That said, the piece is highly specialized and may not appeal to all users, particularly those unfamiliar with its traditional use. I found it a bit limiting in versatility, as I wasn’t sure what to cook with it. I ended up using it to bake pandebono (Colombian cheese bread), which worked well.
