I debated between 3 and 4 stars, but decided on 4 because the desk, overall, is nice and serves our purposes well. Mine arrived in a package that was pretty beat up, so I feared I would have a lot of chipped and broken pieces, but the pieces were so solid that I only saw a couple minor scratches and one busted drawer. I tried to get the drawer replaced and haven't succeeded yet. The first replacement I ordered never arrived, and the shipping company said the tracking number didn't exist. I finally got a second replacement ordered, and it was the drawer for the wrong side. Though they look the same and have the same part number, apparently there is a couple centimeters difference on the outer panel, so they are not interchangeable. I may just end up gluing the original drawer together instead of dealing with customer service again. Finally, as others have said, the assembly instructions were incorrect in many places, which made it take an extra long time to put together. Thankfully, all the needed hardware was there in the correct amounts, it was just a puzzle to figure out where it all actually went, because it was definitely NOT what the instructions said. I ordered this desk that came with white glove delivery where they carry the box to the room of your choice, assemble (if needed) and take the packaging away. The 2 delivery men carried the box to the room but refused to assemble the desk and take the packaging away, claiming they are not Wayfair and didn't have time even though they acknowledged the invoice had white glove delivery. So, I put the desk together. It basically comes in 4 parts (the top, 2 sides and lower back piece that fits into the 2 side pieces. The instructions refer to the pieces as A, B, C, and D yet the pieces are labeled random letters (R, L,...) but it's not difficult to figure out which piece goes where and it's not hard to put together IF the 2 side pieces fit but they don't so it's impossible for more than 2 screws to fit (one on each side). To compound the problem, the hole in the side of the top piece is oval and the screw is circular. The desk is unstable and unsafe, especially for a child. I've called a carpenter/handyman to come and widen the oval hole so the screw can reach the side pieces. Not happy.. New To Town. Connecticut. Mon Apr 29 2024

We love wayfair. But we bought this item for our son and while putting it together the screws stripped into the wood and cracked the whole leg is a chair and parts of the desk from another screw.
