I'm happy with this piece. That said, it has pre-drilled holes and comes with anchors and screws for drywall mounting, which we initially used. The next morning, with nothing on the shelves, it had pulled away from the wall and was about to fall off. We have the entertainment center in black and white and are so glad we ordered before they became "out of stock". It is all that we hoped it would be. It makes our living room a true showpiece. Very happy with Wayfair support team, they were very helpful when some of the pieces were damaged. The product itself is great except for the hardware they send to put the floating shelf on the wall with. It would not hold the shelf without bending it away from the wall. This set up looks real sharp and is of fairly good quality material. I recommend updating the hanging hardware to accommodate your wall situation. I had some issues with the provided anchors not holding up to the task required. Also, the mounting hardware for the decorative shelf is kinda unforgiving if you place it the wrong direction. Speaking of directions, this set has some considerable construction to do and if youre not savvy with reading context, these instructs are not for you. When you bring up the link for the instructions, it gives you instructions for every version of this set and youre kinda left to figure out which picture(s) look most like yours (good times). Yes, you can do it, but it sure would be nice to have the set come with the instructions specific to your set, considering that this set is to be hung on a wall and doing it right is...kinda important.
