Overall pretty simple to put together…. Took me about 1.5 hours, but I put the towel bar and wheels on after the legs since my kitchen is tight on space and wasn’t sure they would work. Smaller hands make assembly a bit easier since some of the connections are in not easily assessable areas. The long and medium bolts are the same length! The Allyn wrench provided is too long, so used a smaller one I had that worked better for me. Very easy to put together with only one person. Stores quite a bit. When the leaf is extended, you have a nice, large workspace. Drawers are fairly deep, but are just a little bit too short to store ladles and other slightly longer kitchen utensils. We've had this kitchen cart for 6 years now and it looks like new! We store various paper plates and plate holders as well as a popcorn popper and containers on one shelf, and cereal containers and cereal bowls on the the other. We roll it back and forth every day when we connect our portable dishwasher to the sink and there are no problems with the wheels or any other part of the cart. I inadvertently switched the shelves when I put it together, but that works fine for us. The wood top has held up really well and we've been able to remove any stains with a little bit of bleach kitchen cleanser. Beautiful piece in my smallish kitchen. Not a heavy looking island in that it is not bulky or space consuming. It is a great size for display, cooling or serving. The lower shelf is great for storage. It is well made and the marble is gorgeous. Several people have seen this and ordered one too. Couldn’t be happier with this.
