The fabric cushion on the seat is slippery so you’ll need to put a skid protector underneath it. I also decided the color was too dark so covered the fabric with something lighter. Beautiful piece; looks true to the picture in style and color. Knocked off 1 star because the backing was not flush, so we had to unscrew it and then wiggle it in again. However, once this was done, it was fine. Screws are provided to lock the middle shelf into place for extra stability, if preferred, or it can remain moveable like typical adjustable shelves.. Over all it's pretty great! Fit lots of books and is the perfect cozy window seat for kids 2-7 years old. Not the best quality but it should last a few years. Took one star off due to tiny design flaw that it wobbles a little.
