It was time for a two wheels one, the only down side is that his old one does not require batteries and lights up when in use. This one needs batteries and the part I don’t understand is that the on and off bottom is under the deck and looses your setting of preferred lighting every time you turn it off. I got this tricycle for my 3 years old daughter and she loved it especially the back storage! It's sturdy and has room to adjust for growth. I was able to put the trike together quite easily. The ride on toy was easy to assemble. Only one little thing to watch out for is the motor switch connection. Ours was inside the housing and I had to take the toy apart but no concerns.
