This is a heavy 30" coffee table. Very easy to put together. I did it by myself - maybe 20 min. tops? Wood is nice - I think acacia wood which is sturdy. If you like the style it looks very much as pictured. I have 63" between the sofa chaise ends, and could have taken a 34 or 35" round, but I didn't want to have to scoot around it every time we sat down. 30" gives a place for things. It’s made of solid wood rather than particle board, and it feels sturdy and well-crafted. It does sit low at just under 14 inches high, but since we have a lower-profile sofa, it’s the perfect fit. The beautifully carved detailing around the sides gives it a distinctive, designer look that really stands out. The finish is another highlight. It’s a light wood with soft golden tones and absolutely no orange undertones. Since adding it to our family room, I’ve received countless compliments.
