I love these! They were very easy to snap together and quick to place. My error was in assuming my patio was 5X8 instead of 5X9. So I thought I’d have a couple extra when, in fact, I am one short. I just put my propane tank there and it’s not a big deal. Keep in mind that you cannot get smooth sides on all sides so you have to either live with the edge you get on two sides, or trim them. I waited a bit to review these Bergo tiles as I wanted to see how well they performed in my PNW weather. The range of full sun, overnight dew and heavy rain did not affect the tiles in any adverse way. They did not warp, curl, come unlocked, collect mildew or get slippery. I installed them on top of an aged cedar deck off my kitchen and they are so pretty and functionally superb. My guests comment on their beauty and cushioned feel underfoot. They install with no special tool ( a mallet hammer or your clog lol) You can unhook them and change the pattern also. The fact that they are made from recycled plastic is a bonus. This tile worked out great for my needs. It’s kinda maybe a silly idea to use these as a playhouse flooring. I didn’t want my kids wearing out the grass and getting muddy feet. So I just plopped these down over my grass. Lol! I honestly probably should have cleared the grass, and smoothed out the dirt, and put a weedgrass barrier down. But I didn’t. I got impatient. I ended up with 1 extra tile. I probably did a space 48”x48”. If you do this the way I did. I waited for a rain storm to soften the soil of the grass so I could anker grass nails in to hold the tiles in place. Then voila! Not professional but good enough. And it’s cute!. Sarah. I got these to put at the entry point of my above ground pool and so far they seem like they’ll work perfectly! Super easy to put together and flexible so I didn’t have to have the ground perfectly level before laying them down. The water and any sand will easily go right through the slats. I used these to lay on top of the pavers I made a slab with for my outside greenhouse. I have a misting system that waters everything 2 times a day and so far these tiles are holding up really well and look so nice and are helping with drainage of my fabric potted plants! They are so nice I just ordered more as the extra ones I had left over I stained to match my outdoor sauna and they are looking so nice but now I need more!! Great product!!
