I purchased 6 dog planters to be used as champagne bucket centerpieces for an event. They are extremely cute and substantial in size. Unfortunately, they are fragile and the clay, chalky material that is brown in color had chipped off on a few of the planters leaving the white underneath material exposed. I have talented artsy friends who I believe will be able to remedy this issue. If packing peanuts had been added to the existing packing material it may have limited the chipping.
