I need to repurpose some vintage 70's amber glass orbs... I bought two of these for two orbs etc, they are decent with perhaps a chain that is too long but it leaves you something to work with. The chain if decent grade and should hold most normal weight shades/orbs etc. One of the socket cuffs? was a little off center and that's why I took one star off, the hook at the top of the light has teeth/grooves leaving me room to balance it despite that. Material is a lot thinner than it appears in the photo. Measurements provided are at the widest points, which I assumed, however, the material itself is extremely thin and I'm not sure about longevity. The cost to return is over half the cost of the item so it's not worth sending back. With it being on the ceiling it should be okay for awhile.
