You are able to adjust the colors, time when you would like the light to come on and the warmth of the brightness. The motion detection does not give a far range to turn on. You would need to have it right at the entrance of a room so when you walk directly in front of the nightlight it will turn on. The app was easy to install and use, very user friendly.
