I love this bed! I will say if you have small children, it could be a hazard corners need Sanding. It is Absolutely a minimum of two people for assembly. This is an elegant, beautiful piece. My only peeve is that it is made of composite wood except for the 5 legs. The description is misleading. This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down.
