It worked out great!! I decided not to center it because theb I would have had to add 2x4s in the wall. So I just put it in the corner which worked out because I didnt do a custom niche and that had to be put in between the studs size it all aligned. I love this shower chair. It is a bit smaller than I thought in terms of the width of the seat, but it works for me. Very heavy.
