I ordered this tent for my 12 year old son who loves to go camping. It was nasty weather o outside but he couldn’t wait to set it up so we did inside! It was so easy to pop up that he was able to do it on his own no problem. Obviously we didn’t get to stake it but as you can see it comes with very nice hefty stakes. Since we haven’t tested it in the rain I can’t speak for the rain fly but it is nice that it has one! My 12 year old is around 5’2 and he is very comfortable in it (even with his younger brother). I think a tall man would have a little more trouble being comfortable in this but it is 7ft long. Incredible tent cannot recommend it enough! The setup was incredibly easy. This tent has incredible features of tents more than twice the price! The materials are very high-quality, great stitching, love the glow in the dark pegs and the reflective guidelines are great features and the zippers are good quality too! We love that this tent has a blackout fly and that the exterior windows can be opened or vented. We slept very well and were very warm even though the nights were cool. This could be a 3 season tent if you have the right gear. The porch on the fly was a great touch, kept the entrance to the tent dry and shaded, we lowered it at night to give us an even darker warmer space and you can buy extra compatible poles from nature hike to extend the fly porch out even more. There is enough floor space for a queen size air mattress without it touching the walls. We are both over 6 feet tall and could stand and move about comfortably with room for some gear as well. This tent is very sturdy. Best of all, packing up the tent was a breeze and all went back into the bag easily. This tent is a nearly perfect dupe for the Naturehike Village 6 2.0 tent. We used this tent for winter camping in March with a mix of light snow and rain, and overall it performed really well. The 300D Oxford material felt durable.We set it up with a wood-burning stove using the stove jack, and it worked great. I was initially concerned about how close the stove would be to the walls, but the spacing was actually very comfortable and safe.Inside, we were able to fit two twin air mattresses with a storage table in between, which worked perfectly as a side table. With the stove inside, I would say it realistically fits 2 people comfortably (or 1 queen/king mattress). Without the stove, you could likely fit an additional mattress.The awning is a standout feature — having a covered cooking area right outside the tent made a big difference, especially in wet conditions. Definitely worth getting the version with the awning.The only downside is that this “8-person” size does not have the top ventilation that the larger models (10- and 12-person) include. Because of that, we experienced noticeable condensation buildup along the walls. If your bedding touches the sides, it can get damp, so I recommend keeping mattresses slightly away from the walls and bringing a towel to wipe down moisture.One additional tip: if you’re using a wood stove, make sure your chimney pipe extends well above the tent height (ideally 9–10 ft). Mine was a bit shorter, and a few embers caused small, patchable holes in the roof.Overall, I’m very happy with this tent — it’s durable, functional, and worked great for cold-weather camping.
