Both the directions and holes predrilled were fairly easy to assemble. Due to the size it came in 3 sections but once the first was assembled it went much faster. We are pleased with armoire as far as the way it looks but the lack of the 5th star in the rating was simply due to the material in the outer pieces. The Armoire adopts a contrasting color scheme. Its main body is a sophisticated black, while the upper halves of the doors feature a natural wood grain finish, complemented by long gold handles. This combination creates a retro yet refined look that harmonizes with various home décor styles.

Overall this is a great piece. Instructions are good, build time is not bad at all and only takes one person for 98% of it. Well packaged. Once built, it's quite sturdy. The wood tone is sharp, great contrast to the black. The gold handles miss the mark. The gold is incredibly bright and brassy yellow, dated. If they had gone with a softer tone of gold this piece would've been better. But it's an easy fix. The doors aren't the easiest to open and close, they feel a little cheap, and a few pieces of the hardware came broken (cheap quality). We didn't install the clothing bar, we have other plans for use of this piece. Overall a it's a pretty good value and a piece I'd recommend for a cheap yet functional and fairly stylish option.. It coms in 4 sections, so it’s very easy to spread the assembly out over a couple of days. The sections without drawers took about 1.5 hr each, and the sections without drawers were 2.5 hrs each. Really not bad at all considering the size of this thing. This is not heirloom furniture by any means, but it’s sturdy enough for what I need. This 20" black wardrobe closet with fluted glass and storage cabinet is the cutest. Assembly was on the verge of being too hard for a middle age women, but I managed without breaking anything. I LOVE this piece for displaying and keeping my vintage quilts organized.
